Researching Approaches in the Simulation of Wind Power Plants with a PMSG
Abstract
Distributed Energy Resources (DER) are an important part of all power grids. Nowadays it is very important to develop adequate simulation of model parameters of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and components. In this paper, more attention is given to wind power plants with a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). The information about implementation of wind power farms in World, Europe and Ukraine for last years and show perspective. Analyzed the typical dynamical model for wind turbine generator system in Simulink MATLAB. Created model for wind power plants which results that allows analyzing model parameters.
