Methods of Automated Full-scale Measurement of Wave Parameters in Water Reservoirs of Pumped Storage Power Plants

Abstract

The paper considers the important issues of reliable operation assurance of upper water reservoirs in pumped storage power plants with taking into account flow hydrodynamics during power plant operating. It was developed the method and methodology of automated measuring the parameters of translation waves and wind waves with using the modern control and measuring equipment by the example of upper water reservoir of Dniester pumped storage power plant.
