Dynamic Characteristics of Zero-Current-Switching Quasi-Resonant Boost Converter under Variation of Resonant Circuit and Load Parameters

Abstract

The investigation of resonant circuit parameters influence on dynamic characteristics and electromagnetic processes in half-wave quasi-resonant boost converter is presented. The dependences of transistor non-zero conductivity duration, transistor switching-off current value, transistor voltage and current peak values under variation of resonant inductance and resonant capacitance are obtained by dint of simulation. The dependences of these characteristics under variation of active and reactive part of load impedance are also received. All above allow simplifying the construction of robust table-based control system for similar types of converters.
