Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
A non-profit organization, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is the world’s leading professional association for the advancement of technology. Today, the organization’s scope of interest has expanded into so many related fields, that it is simply referred to by the letters I-E-E-E (pronounced Eye-triple-E). There are more than 400,000 IEEE members in over 160 countries around the world. IEEE members are engineers, scientists and allied professionals whose technical interests are rooted in electrical and computer sciences, engineering and related disciplines.

National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”
The National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” was founded in 1898. Today Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is the largest educational and scientific centre of Ukraine. It combines educational, scientific and innovation potential. It is the town, which inhabited by more than 40 thousand of undergraduate and graduate students and near 10 thousand of teachers and scholars. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is known in our country and all over the world as the research university implementing new forms of educational and scientific processes, new forms of management of higher education.

The Institute of Electrodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was founded in 1947 by decision of Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR.

      Today, the Institute comprises 14 academic departments, where 4 Academicians and 6 Corresponding Members of NAS of Ukraine, 39 doctors, 91 candidates of sciences, and highly-qualified engineering and technical staff, conduct researches. The efforts of the Institute scientific staff are focused on further development of the basic researches of physical and technical issues in electrical engineering, and on solving pressing scientific and technical issues of the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine.

As authorized by the IEEE Board of Directors, the IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Board approved the establishment of the IEEE Ukraine Section on November 21, 1991 as part of the IEEE Region 8 (Europe, Africa, and Middle East). The IEEE Ukraine Section was legally founded on November 18, 2016 as Public Union “IEEE Ukraine Section”.

Public Union “IEEE Ukraine Section” is a non-profit organisation representing IEEE in Ukraine. Board of PU “IEEE Ukraine Section” consist of Chapter’s Chairs and Section Elected Officers. PU Board appoints the Executive Director.

 

 

 

 

IEEE KPI Student Branch founded in October 2010. Borys Pratsiuk was first Chairman.

We are proud to collaborate with more than 60 international organisations or networks and more than 70 foreign academies of science and equivalent organisations from Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa.
